About the Land Trust Alliance
The Land Trust Alliance leads a national network of nearly 1,700 community-based, nonprofit land conservation organizations working to safeguard land for present and future generations. The Alliance advocates for increased land protection funding and tax code changes that give landowners the opportunity to choose conservation over development. It provides state-of-the-art tools, information and training that professional practitioners and volunteers need to effectively save land. The Alliance works with national and local media to help people understand and prioritize the importance of land conservation in their daily life. The Land Trust Alliance is headquartered in Washington, D.C., and has several regional offices. Please visit www.lta.org to learn more.
